Created by Dazzz Universe team with the support of Maison Cartier.
Our mission is to create projects that are changing the world for the better. We create projects in the field of culture, art and education which reflect the present challenges and inspire businesses and cultural representatives to find new formats for the implementation of joint initiatives
The project is an important international initiative supporting the themes of glocalization, heritage preservation and actualization, while caring for the traditions and culture of each country and region.
The theme itself makes it possible to realise the initiative in different formats: art installation or exhibition, opera or ballet, immersive performance or film.
An important part of the initiative is sustainable development. Each project is created with the idea that it will last and become a part of a permanent repertoire of a theater, gallery, museum or other public space.
We collaborate with many international talents and global changemakers to create unique works of art
With the cooperation of Maison Cartier and The State Theatre of Musical Comedy
About

The musical performance «Magical Song» reveals the connection between mother and child as one of the most intimate bonds in every person’s life.
The boy, the protagonist of the play, does not want to grow up. He sees monsters everywhere, and is afraid of the unknown and dreams of sleeping in his cradle. In a dream, he finds himself in a fairy-tale world of his fears and fantasies.

and the boy
On his dreamy journey the boy is accompanied by Aksakal, who not only plays the role of an old storyteller, but also personifies the boy himself in his old age.
Thanks to the connection between the protagonist and the narrator, it becomes clear that the boy will live a long life and gain wisdom.

«It is generally accepted that the legacy is in the past, but it seems to me that the legacy begins in the present, in how we pass on our culture to our children, how we talk about it. Being on the Silk Road, and being a multinational country, Azerbaijan has always been open to cultural dialogue, but at the same time retained its uniqueness. Today we have gathered for a performance based on Azerbaijani folklore. Thanks to an international team and valuable partnerships, we have the opportunity to look at Azerbaijani culture in a new way»

«We thank all local and invited talents, theater team, historians and folklorists for the love and dedication with which they have implemented the most important of the missions — the preservation and transmission of traditions to future generations. This is absolutely in tune with the values of Maison Cartier. The project took place despite many current challenges, and we are grateful to the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan and the State Musical Theater for their cooperation and the unique opportunity to work with the richest culture not superficially, but in a close dialogue with its bearers»
